{"id":224,"date":"2017-09-04T15:12:36","date_gmt":"2017-09-04T15:12:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/baltimorecountyfra.org\/inferno\/?page_id=224"},"modified":"2024-10-01T15:02:02","modified_gmt":"2024-10-01T19:02:02","slug":"truck-turn-in-procedures","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/baltimorecountyfra.org\/inferno\/evodriver-training\/truck-turn-in-procedures\/","title":{"rendered":"Truck Turn-In"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\t\t\t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.baltimorecountyfra.org\/login\/index.php\" target=\"_self\" role=\"button\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tLog On to the InFERNO Learning Management System\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t<strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/baltimorecountyfra.org\/inferno\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/cropped-Fire-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"50\" height=\"50\" \/><br \/>\n<em>Quick Links<\/em><\/strong>\n\t<h3>Truck Turn-In Procedures<\/h3>\n<p>Completion of the Fire Apparatus Driver\/Operator (FADO) Truck Turn-In through the Fire-Rescue Academy will allow the candidate to drive all ladder trucks in the department fleet.\u00a0 The turn-in consists of six (6) skill stations and a road course. \u00a0Station officers should work with personnel to ensure that those individuals driving specialized units are familiar with their operation.<\/p>\n<strong>Prerequisites<br \/>\n<\/strong>Candidates must possess the following prerequisites to be considered for the Truck Turn-In:\n<ul>\n<li>MFRI Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (FIRE-130)<\/li>\n<li>MFRI Aerial Apparatus Driver\/Operator (FIRE-114)<\/li>\n<li>Firefighter II (MFSPQB, NBFSPQ, IFSAC or DoD-IFSAC certification)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<strong>MFSPQB Skills Sheets<br \/>\n<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/baltimorecountyfra.org\/inferno\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/FADO-Aerial-Skills-Checklist-2017-ed-REVISED-2022.pdf\">MFSPQB FADO &#8211; Aerial Skills Checklist (PDF)<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/baltimorecountyfra.org\/inferno\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/FADO-Tiller-Skills-Checklist-2017-ed-REVISED-2022.pdf\">MFSPQB FADO &#8211; Tiller Skills Checklist (PDF)<\/a>\n<p><strong><em>(These checklists need to be completed in blue or any contrasting ink &#8211; not black)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<strong>Evaluation and Turn-In<br \/>\n<\/strong>On the day of testing, the applicant must bring with them a completed In-Station Skills Packet and the <a href=\"https:\/\/baltimorecountyfra.org\/inferno\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Truck-Turn-In-Instructor-Packet-Page-5.pdf\">FADO Truck Turn In Checklist<\/a> items for review by the evaluator.\u00a0 The In-Station Skills Packet is distributed by the FRA upon submission of a request.\u00a0 Applicants should review the <a href=\"https:\/\/baltimorecountyfra.org\/inferno\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/Truck-Turn-In-Sample-Skill-Cards-rev09012020.pdf\">Sample FADO Truck Turn Skill Cards (PDF)<\/a> to prepare for the evaluation prior to scheduling. The test will consist of the six skills cards as well as an on-road test.\u00a0\u00a0Once the individual is ready for a turn-in, the station officer should complete a Driver Turn-In Request.\n<strong>Turn In Completion Time Requirements<br \/>\n<\/strong>All candidates shall complete all indicated requirements and tasks including the evaluation and should not exceed one calendar
